The generously, luxuriously and modern furnished apartment offers plentiful space for five persons. At your disposal are two spacious bedrooms with double beds, a children’s room with one single bed, and commodious living room with an eating area, a satellite-TV, video and music system, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms are set up with massaging showerheads and bathtubs, which cordially invite you to unwind after a tough day. For further relaxing one can only recommend the large balcony and covered terrace. For those who don’t want to just swim in the sea, as well as for those who just want to cool down, there is a large pool with sun beds located in the luscious green garden. Casa Gioiosa is an ideal starting point for those who wish to explore the ligurian backcountry with its peaks of the alps and olive groves, but at the same time wish to enjoy the wonders of the sandy beaches and refreshing sea.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero. The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development. Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.
