The Casa Sognidoro lies in the ligurian locality of Artallo, which is reachable through Imperia within few minutes by car. Imperia offers a lot of activities, good restaurants and beaches. You can park by the holiday apartment. It offers enough room for 6 people with its 2 bedrooms with king size beds, its living romm with daybed, its bathroom with shower and WC, it’s open kitchen with microwave and its terrace, with you can reach through the dining area. The terrace has a splendid view over the landscape and it is the ideal place to end the day while savouring a good wine.

Imperia is the fourth largest town in Liguria. It became a municipality in 1923 as a consequence of the union of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, two towns on the Western Riviera divided by the mouth of the River Impero.

The two nuclei remain distinct despite the administrative merger and extensive property development.

Porto Maurizio was an ally of Genoa from the thirteenth century onwards, while Oneglia, the natural sea outlet of the Impero Valley, was allied with the House of Savoy from 1576. Oneglia's origins as a town date back to mediaeval times. Worth visiting are Palazzo Doria (now completely transformed), which was the birthplace of Andrea Doria, and the church of San Giovanni Battista. Porto Maurizio, which stands on a promontory, began to develop after 1000 AD: the oldest district is called Parasio. The cathedral and the historic buildings are well worth visiting.

Artallo is a mountain town approximately 400 years old. It sits in a picturesque setting about 3 km above the harbor city Porto Maurizio. All that which make a Riviera holiday perfect can be found here: beaches, harbor, promenade, bars, restaurants, small shops and arts and crafts. There is also a great path to St. Agata for strolling along.

The property is approx. 5 min from the sea(Imperia). This is also where lots of hiking or mountainbike trails start.
