Just about ten minutes by car from Albisola Superiore lies Ellera; the La Locanda di Nonna Teresa holiday apartment is located in this little romantic village, above the restaurant of the same name. The apartment offers ample room for up to eleven people and has a double bedroom, a second double bedroom with additional single bed, and a bedroom with four single beds. You can get to this bedroom through a little balcony which connects it with the rest of the apartment. There is also a little kitchen, a comfortable living room with a sofa bed and a bath with shower. You can comfortably enjoy a good breakfast with your family on the spacious terrace, which you can get to from the bedroom and from the living room, and plan an exciting trip to the Beigua park, for example. The Locanda di Nonna Teresa is an ideal starting point for excursions to the sea or to the mountains.

Albisola has been known for centuries for its ceramic and porcelain artwork. Even today you will find many handicraft stores that carry on this tradition. If you are interested in seeing some of the old art work then the Museo della Ceramica M. Trucco on the Corso Ferrari is the place for you (Mon-Sat 10am – 12pm, 3pm – 6:30pm).



The city of Albisola is divided into two townships, Albisola Superiore and Albisola Marina, by the river Sansobbia.



In the upper town of Albisola superiore is the 17th century church S. Nicolò. From here there is a perfect view of Albisola Marina. Along the sea you will find the ceramic promenade Lungomare degli Artisti which was constructed in 1963.



In the church Nostra Signora della Concordia there is a beautiful depiction of the birth of Christ made out of glazed tiles.

1. an electric kettle; 2. an dishwasher; 3. bigger fridge; ....but everything was ok No. It was very nice. Tha terrace was big. We could eat all mealls there and plays... But sametimes we were a problem with a carpark. In the nearest there are two restaurants, due this reasons we had a problem to park our cars. Everybody has to rent a car to see all great places which are and surround the Liguria. best wishes
